FAQs

  • When you hire an external web designer, you only pay for the service and product you receive. You do not have to think about pension, insurance, maternity and annual leave, employment relations, equipment, office space, further education, etc. It's all included in the price and therefore you know exactly what to pay before we get started.

  • To make a booking, please fill out the request a spot form. Once you have sent in the form I will contact you, usually within 2 business days.

  • After you have made a booking, I will send you a final project agreement with the confirmed start date, final price, and full details of what is included. To secure the spot, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the project price is charged. You will only have secured the desired date once you have made the deposit payment.

  • You should always book as early as possible if you need to have the website ready by a certain date, e.g. a launch date of the business. The earlier you book, the greater the chance that you can get the date you want.

  • Once I have a project booked, I do not take others into this period. Therefore, it is very important that if, for whatever reason, you are not ready for the project start date, let me know as soon as possible. Your project will then be moved to a different start date (be aware that there is a postponement fee associated with this).

  • The Squarespace platform has their own different price tiers plus monthly versus annual payment. The cost of the platform is not included in the project price, nor are the domain costs.

In addition, additional costs for special fonts, images, illustrations, and other paid material are not included.

  • After the end of the project, I offer technical support, which is invoiced at the current hourly rate, or you can sign up for our Webmaster Services and thus, have the benefit of just sending us an email.

  • I mainly use Squarespace, as it is a very user-friendly platform, which means that you can maintain the page yourself after the transfer. In some rare situations, I use Wordpress, if the client’s need require it. The chosen platform depends on the project and the customer's needs.

  • The length of the project depends on the complexity of the site. Most small business websites take 2-3 weeks to finish. Larger projects can take up to several months.

  • Yes, we do offer webmaster services. Please enquire via our booking form to hear more.

  • Designing a good website is time-consuming and requires a lot of preparation. Therefore, there is also an investment associated with the work and given the nature of the work, no refund is given.
